DAVE ROUSEAU - DIRECTOR
Director David Rousseau is making moves in the competitive world of music videos. His eye for capturing the performance energy of artists combined with sleek imagery, bright colors and innovative graphics, has made him one of the most sought-after video directors of today.

David transitioned into music video production after a successful career in broadcast television where his talents earned him four prestigious Emmy Awards. Born in Caracas, Venezuela to Cuban parents, and raised in Miami, David’s love for merging music with film emerged at a young age. The son of a musician who wanted him to attend college and study medicine or law, the young director instead set his sights on making a career at his passion.

The dream was a long shot for a kid growing up in Little Havana, in the shadow of the historic Orange Bowl Stadium, where many artists performed. “I got to listen to Genesis, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, and Michael Jackson … all from the hood of my neighbor’s car.” Since he wasn’t at the actual concerts, he had to look up at the sky, and imagine the show. “It was using that imagination that fueled my vision.” He would also go to his friends’ houses to watch MTV, because his family couldn’t afford cable television. “I knew one day I wanted to have a video on MTV; that was my dream.”

That dream became a reality in 2007, when he launched CreativeSeen, a production company devoted to music video and commercial production. In a short timeframe, he’s managed to work with some of the biggest names in music – Pitbull, Lil Jon, Akon, Fat Joe, T-Pain, LMFAO, and Jadakiss – directing videos that have appeared on all major video networks, including MTV, BET and FUSE.

David’s credit list includes worldwide smash, “I Know You Want Me (Calle 8)” for Pitbull, which garnered over 62 million hits on You Tube and was an international hit video. Other videos include “Headboard,” Hurricane Chris featuring Mario and Plies; “Money ‘Round Here,” C-Ride featuring T-Pain; “Shut it Down,” Pitbull featuring Akon; “Hotel Room Service,” Pitbull; “Drop That,” Mista Mac featuring Brisco and Flo Rida; “Give It All You Got,” Lil Jon; “Shooting Star,” David Rush featuring LMFAO, Kevin Rudolf and Pitbull; “Krazy,” Pitbull and Lil Jon; and “Hercules,” DJ Prostyle featuring Jadakiss, Gorilla Zoe, Pitbull and Traffik; and “300 Brolic,” Fat Joe, just to name a few.

“We’ve had the opportunity to work with some really diverse artists, and I’m looking forward to what’s to come.”
